Share your experience to help shape the future of vascular care!

The Plug-in has partnered with the Vascular Surgery Research Group at The University of Adelaide to support representation to their Consumer Advisory Panel. We are seeking people with lived experience to share their insights of diabetes related lower limb amputation. Your voice will help ensure research and care in diabetes and vascular health reflect the realities of patients, families, and communities.

To be involved you will need to:

  • Have lived experience of diabetes and lower limb amputation
  • Preferably live in rural/regional South Australia (however, metropolitan participants are also welcome)
  • Have interest in sharing your experiences to improve research and patient outcomes

If selected, you will:

  • Take part in quarterly Consumer Advisory Panel meetings (online or by phone with support, or in-person if it suits you)
  • You’ll be reimbursed honorarium of $80 per session to thank you for your time
  • You can stop at any time, and you choose what happens to your information

Participation is voluntary and confidential. You can read our privacy policy on the COTA SA website.

Thank you — your voice can shape future care models, strengthen services, and ensure better support for others with diabetes related lower limb complications.

As much as we would like to have everyone involved, space for participants is limited. In order to be considered for involvement, please register your interest as soon as you can by following the link above.
