Thank you to everyone who participated! This project is now closed. Please see below to read more about the project:

Late last year, The Plug-in held three workshops where our Influencers shared their experiences and ideas on how health and aged care research findings can reach the older community. Thanks to the insights that were shared through these workshops we now have a better understanding of how older people think and feel about health and aged care research.

We are now launching the second stage of this project with SAHMRI (South Australian Health and Medical Research Institute) through their Registry of Senior Australians (ROSA). In the second stage of this project we need your help to test the ideas developed in the workshops and invite you to complete a short and interesting online survey for this important project.

The survey explores how ROSA can best communicate their health and aged care research findings to those people who are most affected by it.

Why is this project so important?

ROSA’s research monitors health and other outcomes of people receiving aged care services in South Australia and has impacts for the people using these services. It is very important that older South Australians are strongly represented at every stage of the research process, including how the research is shared with the public.

Contribution to this project will make a difference in health and aged care research being shared effectively and sensitively to help people make more informed decisions about the health and aged care services they use.
