Project Call: Study into travel options to support older people attending hospital or medical appointments

The Plug-in is assisting the Office for Ageing Well, SA Health to deliver a project that looks at how older patients and their families understand and access the different transport services available for attending medical appointments.

This is a project where you’ll be asked to complete a short online survey sharing your experiences about getting to medical appointments.  There will also be an opportunity to take part in focus groups later in the year.  Please see below for further information and selection criteria.

Selection criteria

As with all our projects, The Plug-in has a range of selection criteria for participants. To be eligible for this project, you will need to:

  • Be aged 50 or over AND have attended a hospital or medical appointment in the last 12 months within South Australia

OR

  • Have arranged transportation for a family member or friend who is aged 50 or over to attend a hospital or medical appointment within South Australia in the last 12 months
