The Plug-in is delighted to be working with the Town of Gawler to develop an Ageing Well Framework that will be used to assist older residents to live healthy, enriched and connected lives — and we need your help!
So we can better understand the needs of older residents in and around Gawler, we are inviting local community members to help us explore and understand what ageing well looks like and feels like in the Town of Gawler.
The feedback and insights gathered will inform the Town of Gawler’s Ageing Well Framework and underpin the Council’s strategy to deliver and oversee future ageing well services for the local community.
If you live in or near the Town of Gawler and want to help create a brighter future for ageing residents, we invite you to participate in stage 1 of this project.
Stage 1 — Community workshops
We want to know what a community that supports you to age well would look and feel like — and what role you believe the Council can play in making this a reality.
What’s involved?
Workshops will be a guided discussion where you can share your experiences and ideas, and help us to explore and understand what ageing well looks like and feels like in the Town of Gawler.
To take part you will need to be able to attend one 1.5 hour workshop in December 2021.

As much as we would like to have everyone involved, the number of participants is limited. If you are selected to participate in a workshop, you will be provided with a $50 gift card as a thank you for your time and contribution.
