Long COVID symptoms: Take part in groundbreaking medical research!

The Plug-in, in partnership with Flinders University, are seeking participants to share their perspectives to support with tailoring future health care services to better meet needs for older people experiencing long COVID. We want to hear from you!

We are looking for participants who would be available for a workshop on Friday, 12th April. If you are interested in taking part in this research, take our short survey to see if you are eligible:

We are delighted to be working with Flinders Medical Centre to help their team of world-leading researchers to design healthcare systems that suit older people who are experiencing long COVID. By taking part in this research, you will help to ensure future health care services are tailored to older people and delivered in ways that better meet needs and improves health outcomes.

To be involved, you will need to:

  • Be aged 65 years or older.
  • Be available to attend a workshop at Flinders University on Friday, 12th April, 1:00 – 4:45pm. Lunch will be provided at the beginning of the workshop.
  • More at risk of experiencing long covid symptoms (high blood pressure, chronic lung disease, diabetes, and obesity), OR have experienced long COVID.

All workshop participants will be provided with lunch and a small honorarium as a thank you for your time. Car parking validation will be provided and transport assistance is available on request.

As much as we would like to have everyone involved, workshop space for participants are limited. In order to be considered for involvement, please register your interest as soon as you can by following the link above.
