How big a role does water play in your life and lifestyle? Do you need to manage water and what are your water needs? Do you think about how much water you use daily?
The Plug-in, COTA SA’s social enterprise, is undertaking research to understand the water use and needs of older people in South Australia.
We have found through our interviews with older regional people that their water use, needs, beliefs, and concerns vary depending on where they live in South Australia. We are now conducting a population-wide survey to test, confirm, and challenge our findings.
Why should you take part?
We are inviting you to complete our survey and provide us with insights into your needs, usage, and attitudes to water in their local area. You may have concerns about water, or you may have no concerns at all. Either way, we want to hear from you! Your insights are important to help us to discover the issues relating to accessing and using water, understand environmental considerations, and to explore ideas that will achieve better outcomes for water supply and service. This is an opportunity to have your say about how water access and use affects your life.
This project will help us learn more about how water access and use affect older Australians in regional areas. The findings will be used for advocacy and will help COTA SA and government develop policies and services that better meet the needs of older South Australians.
What’s involved?
The survey should take less than 15 minutes to complete. Your answers will remain confidential in accordance with Australian Privacy Principles.
Am I eligible?
To be eligible to complete this survey you must be aged 50 years or older.
