The Plug-in ran focus groups in October to hear your experiences and preferences for retirement living to help shape and inform a new development site in the northeastern suburbs of Adelaide. A detailed key findings report has been provided to the client to help shape the masterplan for future development of this site. Want to have a say in shaping a new way of retirement living?
For this research, we want to gain your feedback on what you want from retirement living – what housing should look like, what facilities should be available, and what you would want to access in the local area.
Why take part?
If you are thinking about retirement living, this is your chance to say how you want to live and what you want available as you get older. The findings for this research will directly influence how this retirement community is built.
What’s involved?
We are currently looking for people to take part in a focus group of between 8-10 people and up to 1.5 hours in length. These groups will take place in North East Adelaide on a weekday in October.
Am I eligible?
As with all our projects, The Plug-in has a range of selection criteria to ensure that the insights we generate are reliable and useful:
- Aged 65 years or older
- Living independently in the community (i.e. not currently in independent retirement or assisted living)
- Living within 10km of Klemzig
- Able to attend a 1.5 hour focus group at a location in North East Adelaide (please note, we are able to organise transport assistance if required)
If you are selected to participate and complete a focus group, you will receive a $40 gift card as a thank you for your time.
