Who are we?

The Plug-in is powered by COTA SA, serving as its consumer engagement and research team. The Plug-in works alongside older people to better understand their unique experiences, wants and needs which helps us to work with our clients to shape products, services and policies that better supports us as we age.

As a key initiative of COTA SA, we often check in with The Plug-in community to understand perspectives on all types of subjects, ranging from experiences around health, aged care, working with universities on different research initiatives, testing websites and apps, and co-designing ageing well programs to truly meet older people’s needs.

Our engagement activities differ from project to project! Sometimes we may do a survey to gather insights, and also run interviews, focus groups and workshops to really understand your experiences.

To understand the work we do, you can access articles on our past projects here: Past Projects – The Plug-in
